This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow Business Analyst based in United States. As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will bridge business needs and technical delivery across ServiceNow projects and workstreams. You will engage directly with clients and users to understand requirements, processes, pain points, and desired outcomes. Working closely with development teams, you will translate complex requirements into practical ServiceNow solutions and functional designs. You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from current-state analysis and future-state design through testing, training, and implementation. The role also provides opportunities to assess existing implementations and recommend improvements that drive greater efficiency and innovation. This is a collaborative consulting environment where strong communication, analytical thinking, and ServiceNow expertise are essential to delivering meaningful results.
Engage with clients, users, and stakeholders to identify, document, and translate functional requirements into actionable ServiceNow solutions. Capture current-state processes and pain points, then help design and document effective future-state processes. Collaborate closely with ServiceNow development teams to design, develop, configure, implement, administer, and enhance applications. Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical designs aligned with ServiceNow capabilities. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders throughout project and development lifecycles. Build functional deliverables including process maps, design documents, communications, and other project documentation. Support functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and related implementation activities. Conduct technical assessments of existing ServiceNow environments and provide recommendations for improvements. Create and maintain clear technical and functional documentation for ServiceNow solutions. Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, capabilities, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation. Requirements Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance . At least 2 years of professional experience . Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, deliverables, and controls. Experience working in an Agile environment, with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification preferred. Knowledge of ServiceNow modules and capabilities such as GRC, SPM, ITSM, App Engine, and Scoped Apps . Technology consulting experience with the ability to define requirements, lead client meetings, facilitate UAT, and conduct user training. ServiceNow certification such as CSA, CIS, or CAD is preferred. Hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow solutions is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to establish rapport and work effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project deliverables. Knowledge of other low-code and no-code platforms, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, UiPath, Databricks, Salesforce, Power BI, or Tableau, is a plus. General understanding of financial management concepts, including financial operations, financial innovation, internal controls, and risk management, particularly within a federal environment, is desirable.
