Salary: Up to £34,969 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Hams Hall, Birmingham
Hours: Full Time | rotating shift pattern (week 1: x 5.30am-12.30/ week 2:12.30-22.00)

We’re looking for a proactive Site Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Corby site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in maintaining a safe working environment, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics operation.
Working closely with the Site Engineering and Facilities teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our building, equipment, robotics and automation systems are maintained to a high standard, supporting business continuity and delivering a safe, compliant workplace.
What you’ll be doing

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site.

Responding quickly to reactive maintenance issues to minimise downtime.

Supporting the maintenance, fault-finding and basic troubleshooting of distribution centre robotics and automation equipment.

Coordinating and supervising external contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standard.

Supporting statutory compliance, inspections and maintenance records.

Conducting routine site inspections and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Assisting with equipment installations and site improvement projects.

Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.

Supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives across the site.
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or building services engineering role.
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience with good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
- Experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Experience working with distribution centre robotics and automation systems would be an advantage.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and contractor management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with colleagues across all areas of the business.
