About the role
- Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes,
- Be responsible for co-ordinating trades onsite
- Work with a site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards.
- Co-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficiently.
- Maintain Alder’s strong reputation at all times.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards
- Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.
- Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
- Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.
- Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.
About You - Skills and Experience
- 3+ years' experience in a Site Foreman or similar supervisory role delivering commercial construction projects (Class 2-9 buildings).
· Relevant trade qualification (Carpentry, Building, etc.) desirable
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
- Willingness to lead and motivate team members
- A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals
- Good computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)
