This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II based in India. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and network operations, helping scale and strengthen a globally distributed platform. You’ll design and build automation that reduces operational toil and improves the reliability of critical network infrastructure. Working closely with architecture, engineering, and operations teams, you’ll identify bottlenecks and turn them into scalable technical solutions. The position offers hands-on exposure to cloud-native technologies, observability, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices. You’ll contribute to systems that provide deep insights into network performance and operational health. Your work will directly support resilient, maintainable infrastructure and more efficient engineering workflows.

Design and develop automated systems and operational workflows that improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of global network infrastructure. Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks caused by manual processes, technical debt, and inefficient workflows. Build telemetry, monitoring, metrics, dashboards, and alerting capabilities that provide deep visibility into network infrastructure. Develop robust, maintainable software using CI/CD, test-driven development, iterative design, and sound software engineering practices. Deploy and support cloud-native and third-party technologies using infrastructure-as-code principles. Build scalable full-stack solutions that automate operational processes and provide actionable insights from network data. Collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to identify improvement opportunities and deliver practical solutions. Continuously enhance operational processes, automation, and platform capabilities to support growth and reliability. Requirements 2+ years of relevant professional experience, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong programming experience with Python and/or JavaScript, with the ability to design and develop scalable systems using appropriate frameworks and software development lifecycle practices. Experience with containers, Kubernetes, service orchestration, microservices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and modern DevOps methodologies. Practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or Apache Cassandra, as well as monitoring, metrics, dashboards, alerting, and network telemetry. Ability to develop automation that reduces manual operational effort and improves engineering efficiency. Strong understanding of software reliability, maintainability, scalability, and production-oriented engineering practices. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams and translate operational challenges into effective engineering solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and continuous-improvement skills.
