Role: Locum Sleep Physiologist Banding: Band 5-7 Location: Southampton Start Date: 06/10/2025 Duration: 3 Months Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Rate: £28 – £40 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sleep Physiologist to join our client’s team in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a specialist role within a supportive and dynamic environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality respiratory and sleep diagnostic services.

The successful candidate will be confident in performing a range of respiratory and sleep studies, interpreting results, and supporting patient care through accurate diagnostics and clinical collaboration.

Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for conducting and interpreting a variety of respiratory and sleep investigations, including lung function testing and sleep studies. You will ensure all procedures are carried out in line with clinical protocols and safety standards, maintain accurate patient records, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology (Respiratory/Sleep) or equivalent

  • Significant experience in respiratory and sleep diagnostics

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Be able to work cross-sites

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
