Applications are open for the SMC26 Winter School on 2–4 November 2026 at Radiona makerspace in Zagreb, a hands-on programme for designing and building electronic musical instruments.
Complete training program details
The three-day school covers electronics, sensors, microcontrollers and creative instrument design, ending with a participant showcase. No previous electronic-instrument-building experience is required. The current standard participation fee is EUR 120 through 15 October 2026 and includes one lunch on each workshop day; registration can close earlier when available places are filled. Applicants submit the registration form and a CV.
Eligibility requirements
Open to applicants interested in sound, music technology, electronics, creative coding and instrument design. Prior experience building electronic instruments is not required. Participants are expected to bring their own musical instrument; a laptop is encouraged.
