Full job description
The engineer will design and deliver search features at large scale, build distributed storage/index/query systems, work with industrial-scale data and experimentation, and collaborate with engineers and scientists internationally. The team works on document understanding, inference efficiency, navigation and search-index infrastructure.
Requirements & qualifications
Amazon lists 3+ years of non-internship software-development experience, 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, and programming experience in at least one language. Machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or NLP experience is preferred.
