Software Developer II - .NET

Join a collaborative engineering team focused on building reliable, maintainable software solutions that solve real business needs. You’ll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. The role combines hands-on .NET development with modern web technologies, databases, cloud tooling, and Agile delivery practices. You’ll work closely with product owners, QA professionals, senior engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platform components. As you grow in the role, you’ll take on increasing ownership while strengthening your engineering practices and technical expertise. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and platform components using modern engineering practices. Build and enhance backend services and APIs with C# and .NET, while contributing to web applications using Angular and JavaScript. Work with SQL Server and relational databases, including writing efficient queries and applying basic query-tuning techniques. Collaborate with product owners, QA, and engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable, well-tested, and maintainable solutions. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and iterative delivery. Investigate, debug, and resolve software issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and implementing preventive improvements. Support application troubleshooting in lower environments and production when needed, following established runbooks and escalation processes. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior and lead engineers to improve coding standards, security, performance, and maintainability. Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting modern development practices, tools, and technologies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server. Experience building backend services and REST APIs using C#/.NET, with familiarity with JSON-based integrations. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including basic query optimization and performance considerations. Familiarity with ASP.NET and IIS is a plus. Experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD concepts, and unit testing frameworks or test-driven development practices. Comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. Exposure to Azure or AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, observability practices, or performance tuning is advantageous. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor AI is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote environment.
