Attindas’ Home Delivery Incontinence Supplier, HDIS located in St. Louis, MO is looking for a Software Developer to join the team!

The Software Developer develops, enhances, tests, and supports business applications that serve core company operations. Working with senior developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders, this role creates software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies, Oracle databases, and API-based integrations.

This is primarily a new application development position. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in application and database development, sound troubleshooting skills, and an interest in learning ERP and healthcare-related business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Create and maintain Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and related database objects.
• Develop and support REST APIs and integrations with internal and third-party applications.
• Participate in the development of new enterprise applications and enhancements to existing systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into maintainable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues during normal business hours.
• Participate in debugging, testing, code reviews, deployments, and production support activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, application notes, and support procedures.
• Provide limited maintenance and enhancement support for legacy Visual Basic 6 applications.
• Collaborate with IT team members and business users to improve operational efficiency through technology.

Required Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience/Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software development experience, including relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Experience developing applications with C# and Microsoft .NET.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational database concepts.
• Basic understanding of API development, web services, and system integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, existing applications, and business processes.

Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development.
• Experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Exposure to ERP, healthcare, distribution, logistics, or other business systems.
• Familiarity with Git or another source control system.
• Exposure to Visual Basic 6 applications and modernization projects.
• Experience with Windows Forms development.
