The role includes designing and operating cloud-native and microservice-based systems, code review, CI/CD, production troubleshooting and use of GenAI or AI-powered developer tools. Amazon states that engineers own code from design through deployment and ongoing operations.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have completed a bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or a related STEM field, with graduation expected between October 2025 and September 2026 or graduation within the previous 24 months. Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language and core data structures, algorithms or object-oriented design is required.
