With $275m in funding from leading investors and trusted by Fortune 100 companies, Fundamental is giving businesses the Power to Predict. At Fundamental, you'll work on unprecedented technical challenges in foundation model development and build technology that transforms how the world's largest companies make decisions. This is your opportunity to be part of a category-defining company from the ground-up. Join the team defining the future of enterprise AI. ABOUT THE ROLE The Solutions Architect role sits at the intersection of our customers, engineering, enterprise deployment, and product, working directly with some of the world’s most data-rich organizations to bring predictive applications into production using our tabular foundation model. In this role, you will guide customers from early discovery and evaluation through deployment and scale. You’ll work with senior business and technical leaders to identify high-value use cases, design robust architectures, and ensure deployments deliver measurable business impact. This is a hands-on role combining solution design, data science & machine learning, and production engineering, ideal for someone who enjoys owning a customer's technical success end-to-end and building real systems that perform in complex enterprise environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Sales to drive the technical win by scoping and building "Art of the Possible" demos, running competitive benchmarks, and prototyping solutions on customer data
  • Own the technical strategy for customers, maintaining deep relationships with senior stakeholders and defining the long-term strategy for adoption and expansion
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery project, coordinating Forward Deployed Engineers and customer teams to resolve technical blockers and drive alignment across IT, Governance, and Business stakeholders
  • Design robust solution architectures and integration patterns that ensure production-grade performance in complex enterprise environments (On-prem, VPC, Legacy systems)
  • Translate patterns from the field into high-signal engineering tickets for Product and Research to inform the roadmap and model evolution
  • Codify winning deployment strategies into reusable assets and reference architectures to accelerate the entire Solutions Architect team.
  • Travel 50% of the time MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in technical consulting or customer-facing technical roles (e.g. Solutions Architect, Data Scientist, Sales Engineer, ML engineer)
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical implementations, spanning traditional machine learning and/or modern Generative AI systems, with an understanding of cloud and on-prem architectures
  • Strong experience working with enterprise customers, including navigating multi-stakeholder environments and deployment cycles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on technical proficiency with a focus on data manipulation (Python, Pandas, SQL) to execute rapid prototyping and analyze customer datasets independently.
  • A collaborative mindset - excited to work cross-functionally, manage trade-offs and balance competing priorities across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to own problems end-to-end, learn quickly, and fill in knowledge gaps as needed to deliver outcomes
  • Humble, team-oriented attitude with a bias toward action and doing what’s necessary to help the broader team win BENEFITS
  • Competitive compensation with salary and equity
  • Comprehensive health coverage for you and your dependents, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents, inclusive of adoptive and surrogate journeys
