ABOUT BRETTON AI Bretton runs AI-native operations for the financial back office. OCC, Fed and FDIC regulated banks use Bretton AI to run compliance, risk, fraud, and operations on one platform, on their own data and policies, with every output traced, cited, and audit-ready. We’ve raised over $95M from Greylock, Y Combinator, Thomson Reuters Ventures and other top tier investors. We’re based in downtown San Francisco and our team comes from world-class organizations like Google, Netflix, Stripe, Plaid, Brex, and more. THE ROLE As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between our Account Executives and our prospective customers, playing a critical role in how they understand, adopt, and succeed with our AI agents. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will combine your technical credibility with your sales acumen to demonstrate value, build trust, and accelerate deals. You will be the technical voice of the customer, translating their needs into solutions and providing invaluable feedback to our product and engineering teams. You will get to show prospects how cutting-edge AI can transform their compliance operations, presenting to both CTOs and Chief Compliance Officers. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with Account Executives to scope and deliver compelling, customized demos that are tailored to the specific business needs of our prospects.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes that showcase how our AI agents can solve our customers’ most pressing problems.
- Present our technical solutions to both business and technical stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Confidently handle technical objections, including questions about integration, compliance, and performance.
- Collaborate with our Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback from the field and influence our product roadmap.
- Contribute to our sales enablement materials, demo environments, and best practices to help scale the impact of our solutions engineering team. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR MUST-HAVES:
- A strong technical background in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into tangible business value.
- Comfortable building quick prototypes and debugging code in real-time.
- A consultative, customer-first mindset with a passion for creative problem-solving. BONUS POINTS:
- Experience in fintech, compliance, or with AI products.
