Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Engineer - DAM Practice based in the United States. The Solutions Engineer - DAM Practice is a client-facing technical expert responsible for designing and delivering Digital Asset Management solutions across complex digital ecosystems. You will guide clients through discovery, platform selection, solution architecture, implementation, integration, and long-term platform strategy. The role combines deep DAM expertise with consulting skills, requiring close collaboration with marketing, creative, brand, IT, and executive stakeholders. You will work across connected technologies such as PIM, CMS, ecommerce, and creative workflow platforms to create scalable digital experiences. The position also contributes to pre-sales, strategic roadmaps, internal methodologies, and emerging technology evaluations. This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable client impact.
Serve as the primary functional and technical consultant throughout client engagements, from scoping and pre-sales through solution design, implementation, enablement, and long-term platform strategy. Lead discovery workshops with marketing, creative, IT, and business stakeholders to understand workflows, taxonomy, metadata, asset lifecycle requirements, and broader business objectives. Design scalable DAM strategies and solutions, including platform configuration, asset migrations, governance, metadata structures, integrations, and user adoption. Advise clients on DAM platform selection based on business requirements, user needs, technical capabilities, and future scalability. Support pre-sales activities by contributing to technical scopes, solution designs, platform evaluations, and proposals. Define integration requirements between DAM platforms and connected systems such as PIM, CMS, ecommerce, and creative workflow tools, including asset ingestion, metadata enrichment, and asset syndication. Collaborate with DAM specialists and development teams to configure, deploy, and integrate solutions effectively, delegating work where appropriate. Troubleshoot platform-level issues involving permissions, workflow automation, renditions, integrations, and system performance. Own technical specifications and architecture documentation for migrations, configurations, integrations, metadata schemas, and asset lifecycle processes. Maintain and improve DAM implementation methodologies, migration approaches, governance frameworks, and reusable delivery tools. Contribute to strategic roadmaps that align DAM evolution with broader enterprise architecture and business objectives. Evaluate emerging DAM technologies and platforms, assessing their applicability, capabilities, and potential business impact. Review configurations and integrations before launch to ensure they meet client objectives and can scale effectively. Lead change management initiatives by communicating the business value of new workflows, capabilities, and enhancements. Maintain accurate time tracking and project status updates, communicate workload and blockers, and maintain an approximately 75% billable utilization target. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Digital Media, Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of professional experience in Digital Asset Management within a consulting, agency, or in-house environment. At least 3 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or systems architecture, including delivery of DAM solutions across multiple clients and concurrent workstreams. Deep hands-on experience with one or more DAM platforms such as Aprimo, Bynder, Cloudinary, or Orange Logic, including configuration, taxonomy and metadata modeling, and user training. Demonstrated experience leading discovery sessions and workshops and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Proven experience delivering complex, multi-system implementations and integrations. Strong understanding of asset lifecycle automation, governance, change management, API-based ingestion, and asset delivery workflows. Working knowledge of API integration principles, including REST APIs. Experience analyzing and modeling large and complex datasets. Experience developing technical documentation, including requirements, metadata schemas, architecture documentation, and asset lifecycle diagrams. Experience supporting pre-sales activities such as scoping, platform evaluations, and technical proposal development. Proficiency with project management and time-tracking tools such as Jira and Tempo. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior and executive stakeholders. Strong client consulting, problem-solving, organization, and relationship-management skills. Experience with ecommerce platforms and integrations is a plus. Experience with CMS platforms such as Kentico, Optimizely/Episerver, or Sitefinity is a plus. Experience with PIM platforms such as Akeneo, Inriver, Salsify, or Stibo is a plus. DAM certifications, including the Rutgers Digital Asset Management Bronze Certificate, are a plus; additional training in Business Analysis, Systems Architecture, Data Management, or Agile delivery is valued. Experience contributing to delivery standards, methodologies, reusable frameworks, or internal toolkits is beneficial. A collaborative and accountable approach, with strong emphasis on empathy, clarity, ownership, integrity, teamwork, and purposeful innovation. Benefits: 100% remote, U.S.-based position. EST working hours preferred. Limited travel for key client meetings, project workshops, or team gatherings, scheduled with advance notice. Competitive salary. 401(k) with matching contributions. Comprehensive employee healthcare options. Paid vacation, holidays, and personal days. Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. Opportunity to make a measurable impact on client businesses and digital ecosystems. Inclusive workplace focused on diverse perspectives, innovation, and strong team collaboration.
