This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Specialist, Market Operations based in the United States. This role provides frontline operational support across electronic trading and exchange environments operating around the clock. You will help keep trading, clearing, connectivity, and exchange applications running reliably for clients and internal stakeholders. The position combines real-time technical troubleshooting, market operations, customer support, and cross-functional problem solving. You will investigate operational issues, analyze errors, and coordinate with product and development teams to resolve complex incidents. The role also supports new product launches, platform updates, deployment testing, and client and vendor onboarding. You will work in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness, technical judgment, and attention to operational detail are essential. The position offers exposure to financial markets technology, derivatives, emerging market products, and opportunities to improve operational processes.

Provide real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across multiple trading environments. Investigate and resolve customer inquiries involving exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology. Support internal and external investigations related to exchange operations, including error trade analysis, investigation, and resolution. Diagnose operational and technical issues and coordinate with appropriate teams to drive timely resolution. Collaborate with product and development teams to support new product launches and platform enhancements. Execute deployment testing in pre-production environments to help protect the stability and reliability of production systems. Support the onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across exchange products and services. Provide operational support for emerging products, including prediction markets and event contracts. Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, document processes, and recommend enhancements aligned with business objectives and platform growth. Deliver support through multiple channels while maintaining quality and responsiveness during high-volume, time-sensitive situations. Communicate complex technical and operational issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Use generative AI responsibly, maintaining appropriate human oversight while improving workflow efficiency, quality, and measurable business outcomes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, a technical discipline, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in financial markets operations, technical operations, or a closely related environment. Demonstrated knowledge of listed futures or options and financial market operations. Hands-on experience with error trade analysis and resolution. Ability to diagnose complex technical problems, determine appropriate solutions, and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience providing multi-channel support through voice, email, chat, or similar channels. Proven ability to maintain service quality and accuracy in high-volume, time-sensitive environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing time-sensitive operational issues. Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, operations, and other cross-functional teams. Familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, Salesforce, or JIRA is a plus. Ability to adapt to evolving products, technologies, operational processes, and market requirements. Responsible and practical use of generative AI, with an understanding of the importance of human oversight and quality control.
