Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a supportive team based in Hayes. This locum role involves providing specialist speech and language therapy services to children across schools in the boroughs surrounding Hillingdon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and interventions in school settings, requiring travel across the local area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and management of children with speech, language, and communication needs

  • Deliver therapy sessions in schools across Hillingdon and surrounding boroughs

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards

  • Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes

  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)

  • HCPC registration (required)

  • Experience working with paediatric caseloads in educational settings

  • Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle for school visits

  • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
