SPRI supports empirical research on sport participation, sport-system performance, values and ethics, major-event legacies, and sport-related economic or social development. Applicants indicate interest through the CGRS D process.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet CGRS D eligibility, work in one or more SPRI target areas, and be affiliated with an eligible Canadian postsecondary institution. Existing holders of a SSHRC-funded doctoral award or scholarship are not eligible for this supplement.
