Sr Associate - Instructional Designer L&D

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Associate - Instructional Designer L&D based in India. This role focuses on designing and developing engaging digital learning experiences that help learners build practical knowledge and skills. You will transform source content and subject matter expertise into clear, structured, and learner-friendly training experiences. The position combines instructional design, storyboarding, content development, research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with subject matter experts, senior designers, graphic designers, and developers throughout the learning development lifecycle. A strong focus will be placed on instructional quality, alignment with learning objectives, usability, and attention to detail. You will manage multiple learning projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, high-volume development environment. Develop instructional design documents and storyboards for engaging digital learning experiences. Translate source materials, business information, and subject matter expertise into structured, learner-friendly content. Apply instructional design principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences. Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand content, validate accuracy, and shape learning solutions. Work with senior instructional designers to develop and refine digital learning content. Design and develop eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adobe Captivate. Create job aids, training materials, and other supporting learning resources as required. Conduct basic learning needs analysis to understand learner requirements and identify appropriate content approaches. Research learning content and relevant subject matter to support accurate and effective instructional solutions. Structure and write learning content in a clear, concise, and learner-focused manner. Collaborate with graphic designers and developers to translate instructional concepts into polished digital courses. Review completed courses and learning materials for instructional quality, accuracy, consistency, and usability. Incorporate stakeholder and SME feedback into course revisions and subsequent development cycles. Ensure learning solutions are aligned with established instructional design standards and learning objectives . Maintain strong attention to detail throughout storyboarding, content development, review, and revision activities. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting development timelines. Contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment by sharing ideas, incorporating feedback, and supporting common project goals. Continuously improve learning content and development practices based on project feedback and learner needs. Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in instructional design . Degree or certification in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development , or a related field. Hands-on experience developing digital learning and eLearning content . Strong understanding of instructional design fundamentals and learning principles . Proven ability to create clear and effective storyboards for digital learning experiences. Independent working knowledge of Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and/or Adobe Captivate . Strong content structuring and instructional writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for learners. Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to gather, validate, and translate content. Ability to work effectively with graphic designers, developers, senior designers, and other stakeholders. Understanding of learning objectives and the ability to align content and activities with desired outcomes. Experience conducting basic needs analysis and learning content research. Strong course review and revision skills, with the ability to incorporate stakeholder feedback effectively. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, consistent, high-quality learning materials. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a high-volume environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned deliverables, and meet project expectations. Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced learning development environment .
