The Senior Principal Product Manager – AI Security & Agentic Protection will own Gen Digital’s AI-native security strategy, defining how we protect consumers in a world increasingly shaped by AI agents and autonomous systems. This is a high-impact role for a product leader who can think strategically and execute hands-on—shaping a new category of security while delivering scalable, real-world products. This role will: Define and build an agentic anti-virus platform for AI-driven environments Translate emerging AI risks into consumer-grade security capabilities Help position Gen Digital as a leader in AI safety, trust, and protection Sitting within the AI Competency Team, this role connects advanced AI innovation with practical consumer protection, ensuring security is continuous, adaptive, and frictionless. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Define AI-Native Security
- Own the vision, strategy, and execution of an agentic anti-virus platform
- Define protections across prompt integrity, agent behavior monitoring, policy enforcement, runtime safeguards, and supply chain trust
- Translate threats such as prompt injection, tool abuse, data leakage, and model poisoning into practical user-facing protections
- Build security that is real-time, adaptive, and largely invisible to the end user Turn Innovation into Product
- Shape Gen Digital’s point of view on AI safety, agent trust, and governance frameworks
- Partner with research and engineering to turn advanced concepts into scalable systems
- Drive innovation in agent observability, trust scoring, risk modeling, and autonomous detection and response
- Move ideas from concept to capability to platform Drive Platform and Ecosystem Integration
- Define how protection capabilities integrate across Gen Digital products, third-party AI platforms, and developer ecosystems
- Enable deployment through APIs, SDKs, embedded services, MCP, and platform services
- Ensure protections fit naturally into workflows without disrupting the user experience
- Support partnerships and integrations with leading AI providers and platforms Lead the Category
- Monitor the evolving landscape of AI platforms, agent frameworks, and AI security players
- Identify market gaps and opportunities to define consumer-first AI security
- Translate insight into strategic bets and roadmap priorities
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture
- Work closely with engineering to build scalable, high-performance protection systems
- Align on real-time detection and response, privacy-preserving telemetry, and cross-platform interoperability
- Drive trade-offs across security effectiveness, latency, and user experience WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Gen Digital establishes leadership in AI-native consumer security
- The agentic anti-virus platform is adopted across products and ecosystems

- Gen Digital achieves clear differentiation in AI safety and trust QUALIFICATIONS
- 10–15+ years of experience in Product Management
- Proven track record building products in cybersecurity, AI/ML platforms, or developer ecosystems
- Experience building platform products, including APIs, SDKs, and scalable systems
- Strong understanding of AI risks, security principles, and threat modeling
- Experience working across distributed, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity, emerging categories
