Sr. Project Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Project Engineer based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to lead engineering activities for large-scale battery energy storage projects across North America. You will oversee technical execution from design development through construction and commissioning, serving as a key engineering point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Working within cross-functional project teams, you will coordinate electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, controls, and balance-of-plant requirements. You will collaborate closely with engineering consultants, suppliers, EPC contractors, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality project delivery. The position combines technical ownership, design review, vendor management, site verification, and hands-on problem solving in a rapidly evolving renewable energy sector. Strong engineering judgment will be essential as you identify technical risks, resolve complex issues, and ensure projects meet applicable codes, standards, and performance requirements.
