Staff Accountant

We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team as a Staff Accountant. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven candidate to apply and expand their accounting experience in a dynamic, PE-backed managed services environment. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, taxes and other standard financial transactions within an organization, and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Salary: $60,000-$70,000                                                                                                                                         What You'll Do Conduct general-ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnel. Prepare journal entries including but not limited to Cash, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Accruals, and intercompany transactions. Own the sales tax filing and reporting process across all applicable jurisdictions. Maintain and reconcile transactions within NetSuite, including period-close tasks. Support the month-end close process and ensure all assigned tasks are completed by established deadlines. Research and report variances in budget-to-actuals to management. Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Support external audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation on time and in the format requested. Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis as directed by management.                                                                                                                                         What You Bring:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 1–3 years of general ledger accounting experience with a working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting concepts. Strong attention to detail; accurate, reliable, and organized. Ability to act and operate independently, while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Ability to learn quickly and build relationships with cross-functional business leads. Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency; competency with Microsoft Office suite. ERP systems experience; NetSuite strongly preferred. Experience with multi-entity or intercompany accounting a plus.
