Staff AI Process Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff AI Process Specialist based in the United States. The Staff AI Process Specialist will lead enterprise-critical process improvement and digital transformation initiatives with significant operational and financial impact. This senior role works across functions including Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product, IT, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, R&D, and HR. You will identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, analytics, process mining, and modern improvement methodologies to complex business challenges. The position combines technical process design, organizational change, stakeholder leadership, and AI-enabled transformation. You will independently drive high-visibility initiatives from discovery and solution design through implementation, adoption, and measurable results. Success requires strong executive presence, technical fluency, structured problem-solving, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, globally distributed environment.

Lead high-impact digital transformation and process improvement initiatives that use AI, automation, analytics, and technology to deliver measurable operational and financial value, including projects with seven- to eight-figure business impact. Identify, evaluate, design, and implement AI/ML, intelligent automation, and technology-enabled solutions that improve business processes, efficiency, decision-making, and organizational performance. Conduct process discovery using process mining, value stream mapping, analytics, stakeholder interviews, and other structured techniques to identify inefficiencies, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical process documentation, including process flows, RACI matrices, integration diagrams, standard operating procedures, design artifacts, knowledge repositories, and other process documentation. Assess organizational readiness and change impacts while developing and executing change management strategies that support successful adoption of new technologies, systems, and processes. Lead stakeholder engagement activities, including impact assessments, communication planning, training needs analysis, resistance management, and adoption tracking. Provide project leadership for enterprise integrations, system implementations, strategic transformation programs, and other complex initiatives, adapting the approach to project requirements. Coordinate business and technical teams to align scope, requirements, timelines, dependencies, handoffs, deliverables, and implementation priorities. Deliver executive-level updates covering project progress, business value, ROI, feasibility, organizational readiness, risks, and adoption metrics. Apply appropriate process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, DevOps, or hybrid approaches, without relying on a single methodology when project circumstances require flexibility. Build and maintain process repositories, dashboards, knowledge assets, performance measures, and other tools that support transparency and continuous improvement. Support organizational capability building through training, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and certification initiatives covering process improvement, technical documentation, change management, and AI literacy. Introduce new tools, technologies, processes, and improvement practices within a large, matrixed organization while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment and measurable business outcomes. Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities, evolving requirements, tight timelines, and high executive visibility while maintaining accountability through project completion and adoption. Requirements: 10+ years of experience leading digital transformation, process improvement, technology implementation, or complex operational initiatives within large, matrixed organizations. Experience working in healthcare or healthcare-adjacent organizations, with consulting experience considered a strong advantage. Demonstrated experience partnering with Finance, including familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, business metrics, executive reporting, and financial impact analysis. Proven success scoping, leading, and delivering enterprise initiatives with measurable outcomes and significant executive visibility. Strong experience in technical process documentation, organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise transformation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, a health or medical discipline, or a related field, together with an MBA or equivalent combination of business and technology knowledge. Required certifications in Change Management, such as Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt. Preferred certifications include PMP and relevant technical credentials in cloud platforms, analytics, AI/ML, or Microsoft Power Platform. Working knowledge of AI/ML, process mining, intelligent automation, technical documentation tools, visualization platforms, and Microsoft Power Platform. Strong communication, technical writing, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear information for non-technical audiences. Demonstrated thought leadership and experience introducing new technologies, tools, processes, or operating models within complex corporate environments. Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing ambiguity, evolving priorities, multiple concurrent initiatives, and complex stakeholder environments. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across globally distributed teams and multiple functions. Strong judgment and professionalism when handling confidential information, with a consistent focus on measurable business impact rather than unnecessary complexity. Comfortable working remotely across global teams, with travel expected to remain below 10%. Ability to maintain a secure, dedicated home-office environment with reliable high-speed internet and the required technology setup. Benefits: Base compensation ranging from $160,000 to $180,000 per year, with specific offers determined by experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business considerations.
