This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer based in India. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across teams while designing and evolving large-scale systems built for scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. You will help shape technical strategy, influence product and engineering roadmaps, and guide architectural decisions across multiple teams. The role combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to solve complex, systemic technical challenges. You will lead modernization, technical-debt reduction, observability, and reliability initiatives that strengthen critical production systems. You will also help accelerate engineering effectiveness through the thoughtful adoption of AI-assisted development practices. Working closely with engineering, product, QA, design, documentation, and technical support teams, you will have broad influence over both technology and business outcomes.
