This is a senior UX leadership opportunity focused on shaping exceptional experiences across enterprise cybersecurity software platforms. You’ll lead high-profile product initiatives while helping define UX strategy, standards, and long-term design direction. The role combines hands-on design work with mentorship, cross-functional leadership, and influence across product teams. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, researchers, domain specialists, and content professionals to turn complex requirements into intuitive user experiences. You’ll also help advance scalable design practices, reduce design debt, and strengthen consistency across the product portfolio. With opportunities to champion AI-enhanced design practices, this role is suited to a strategic and hands-on designer who wants to make a broad organizational impact.

As a Staff UX Designer, you’ll combine strategic design leadership with hands-on execution, guiding product teams toward user-centered outcomes while helping strengthen the broader UX practice. Support the UX design vision, strategy, and roadmap across product experiences, balancing user needs with business objectives. Lead end-to-end UX design processes, including design thinking, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and validation. Identify proactive UX improvements and develop validated recommendations that can inform product roadmaps. Partner with UX researchers to plan, conduct, and analyze usability studies and research activities that reduce product risk. Mentor, coach, and guide UX designers, helping raise design quality and supporting professional development. Act as a trusted UX expert across product teams, providing guidance on design best practices, research findings, and design system standards. Create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces using established design systems while identifying opportunities to improve the overall design language. Develop storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, and other visual artifacts to communicate design concepts effectively. Facilitate cross-functional workshops focused on product strategy, success measures, ideation, and shared outcomes. Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to balance user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints. Drive consistency across products by identifying opportunities to standardize experiences, reduce design debt, and establish scalable UX practices. Build strong relationships with marketing, sales, support, executive leadership, and other stakeholders while creating effective channels for feedback. Champion user-centered design principles and promote a culture of empathy for users across the organization. Stay current with developments in UX and cybersecurity through research, courses, conferences, and ongoing professional development. Lead adoption of AI-enhanced design practices, using emerging tools to accelerate discovery, design, prototyping, and delivery. Produce developer-ready outputs, interactive prototypes, and AI-generated implementation assets that improve handoffs and support faster product delivery. Requirements The ideal candidate combines extensive UX expertise with strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills, along with the ability to remain hands-on in a complex product environment. 6–8+ years of experience in UX design across enterprise or desktop software, web applications, mobile platforms, or comparable technologies. Exceptional knowledge of user research methodologies, usability testing, and design thinking. Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach UX designers and elevate the quality of design work. Experience working effectively with remote and distributed teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to address immediate product needs while contributing to longer-term UX strategy and vision. Understanding of software development practices and experience working within a software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with HTML and CSS, including knowledge of accessibility practices. Ability to balance UX team mentorship, hands-on design execution, and contribution to product decisions. Self-directed and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and approaches. Strong relationship-building skills with developers, managers, and other stakeholders, with the ability to champion UX perspectives across an organization. Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively within a remote team. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Experience with Windows and Mac OS is a plus. Experience designing for Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, or other mobile platforms is advantageous. Experience in enterprise cybersecurity UX is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Claude Design, Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Jira is beneficial. Experience working with Agile development teams is preferred. Benefits Generous training budget supporting courses, conferences, and ongoing professional development. Opportunity to lead high-profile UX initiatives across enterprise cybersecurity software. Significant influence over UX strategy, design standards, and product experience direction. Opportunity to mentor and develop UX professionals. Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Sales, Support, and executive stakeholders. Remote and distributed working environment.
