Full job description

Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.

Tenstorrent is building the future of AI compute, and our Supply Chain team makes sure the materials behind that work are available when and where they are needed. As a Stores Clerk, you will manage the day-to-day operation of our stores and warehouse function, keeping inventory accurate, organized, and ready to support manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) work.

This role is on-site, based out of Toronto, ON. Daily physical presence in the stores, warehouse, and loading dock is required; remote or hybrid scheduling is not available. You may also work at various locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accurate inventory records and timely ERP transactions.

  • Comfortable balancing receiving, put-away, kitting, material issuing, cycle counts, and shipping activities in a hands-on environment.

  • A clear communicator who can coordinate effectively with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Sourcing, production, and other internal teams.

  • Safety-minded and comfortable lifting and moving stock items up to 50 pounds and operating basic material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.

  • Practical and proactive, with the judgment to identify and escalate shortages, damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and aged or slow-moving stock.

What We Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is an asset.

  • One to three years of experience in a stores, warehouse, receiving, or inventory role; manufacturing or hardware experience is a strong plus.

  • Manage the storeroom and inventory movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and physical inventory counts, while reconciling discrepancies against system records.

  • Coordinate kitting and picking for NPI work orders, issue materials to production and engineering based on approved work orders or requisitions, and support inventory accuracy KPIs.

  • Receive and inspect shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing lists, prepare outgoing shipments, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Experience with SAP or another ERP and inventory transaction system is preferred.

What You Will Learn

  • How stores, inventory control, receiving, and dock operations connect to manufacturing execution and on-time production support.

  • How to support NPI work orders through accurate material picking, kitting, issuing, and ERP transactions.

  • How to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counting, physical counts, reconciliation, and process discipline.

  • How to coordinate the movement of materials across internal teams, carriers, and Greater Toronto Area work locations in a fast-moving hardware environment.
