Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Executive based in the United States. This is a high-impact enterprise sales role focused on turning innovative AI security technology into revenue and long-term customer growth. You will own complex strategic accounts, primarily organizations with 10,000+ employees, throughout the full sales cycle. The role combines consultative selling, business-case development, executive engagement, and strategic account management. You will work closely with founders, product, marketing, engineering, and customer success teams to win major enterprise customers. Rather than simply following an established playbook, you will help build and refine the sales motion for an emerging category. You will engage technical security leaders and C-suite executives, translating sophisticated technology into measurable business value. This is a remote, fast-moving environment with significant autonomy, clear ownership, and the opportunity to influence both commercial strategy and product direction.

Own the complete enterprise sales cycle for strategic accounts, from initial engagement and qualification through negotiation, contract signing, and expansion. Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes within large organizations, navigating incumbent vendors, sophisticated procurement processes, and diverse buying committees. Conduct deep discovery to identify customer challenges and develop compelling, value-driven solutions tailored to each account. Build rigorous business cases that quantify return on investment and demonstrate measurable value across technical, operational, financial, and executive stakeholder groups. Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations that resonate with technical security professionals, business leaders, and C-suite executives. Develop and maintain a disciplined pipeline, accurately managing account and opportunity data across sales systems and applying a consistent sales methodology across multiple high-value opportunities. Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, Marketing, BDRs, Product, Customer Success, and company leadership to develop winning account strategies and close new enterprise logos. Capture, organize, and communicate customer insights to help the broader organization understand market needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities. Act as a strong customer advocate by sharing market feedback with Product and Marketing and helping influence product priorities, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. Contribute to the development of the enterprise sales playbook, processes, messaging, and best practices as the organization scales. Operate with urgency and independence, proactively prospecting, advancing opportunities, and removing obstacles without relying on heavy enablement. Requirements: 5+ years of strategic or enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record selling into organizations with approximately 3,000 or more employees. Demonstrated success closing six-figure enterprise deals, generating substantial pipeline, and consistently exceeding new ARR quotas. Strong technical fluency and the ability to confidently sell sophisticated, security-focused technology to technically sophisticated buyers. Excellent discovery skills, with the ability to uncover underlying customer challenges and translate technical capabilities into clear, measurable business outcomes. Proven experience managing long, complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and building consensus across technical, business, and executive stakeholders. Strong consultative selling and business-case development capabilities, including the ability to quantify ROI and articulate strategic value. Self-directed and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to prospect, manage opportunities, and close deals independently. Strong bias toward action and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities and sales cycles move quickly. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with founders and highly technical cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of commercial outcomes. Experience with structured sales methodologies and sales technology such as Salesforce and other opportunity, account-planning, and enablement platforms. Bonus Qualifications: Experience selling cybersecurity, email security, threat detection, or related security technologies. Experience succeeding at an early-stage startup or as a new market entrant competing against large, established incumbents. Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) or PLG-assisted enterprise sales motions. Experience selling alongside technical founders or senior technical leaders. Existing relationships within large enterprise security organizations and executive-level buying communities. Benefits: Opportunity to work on an emerging AI-powered cybersecurity category addressing a large and rapidly evolving market. Significant ownership over strategic enterprise accounts and the complete sales cycle. Opportunity to work directly with founders and senior technical and product leaders. Meaningful influence over sales strategy, go-to-market execution, product priorities, and market positioning. Fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment with clear KPIs and substantial individual ownership. Remote work within the United States. Opportunity to help build the enterprise sales playbook and shape a growing commercial organization. Exposure to complex enterprise customers and high-value strategic sales opportunities. Opportunity to contribute to a mission focused on defending organizations against increasingly sophisticated AI-driven security threats. Collaborative culture emphasizing speed, autonomy, accountability, and measurable impact. Compensation and benefits details are provided as part of the company's hiring process.
