Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Manager (CSP Control Center) based in India. This is a high-impact enterprise sales role focused on driving net-new business for a rapidly growing cloud commerce platform. You will operate as a strategic hunter, identifying and winning large Microsoft Cloud partners across North America and Europe. The role covers the full enterprise sales cycle, from account research and outbound prospecting through executive engagement, negotiation, and contract close. You will build relationships with senior technology, operations, finance, and business leaders while positioning a scalable solution around complex cloud commerce challenges. Success will require disciplined pipeline management, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to develop opportunities from the ground up. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced SaaS sales professional who thrives on ambitious targets, strategic accounts, and measurable growth.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own new business development across strategic enterprise accounts, building a strong pipeline and converting complex opportunities into long-term customer relationships. Own and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual new business revenue targets. Identify, qualify, and close strategic opportunities with Microsoft Direct Bill Partners, Indirect Providers, and other enterprise cloud organizations. Conduct detailed account research to identify target organizations, decision-makers, buying centers, and commercial opportunities. Develop and execute account penetration strategies for named enterprise accounts. Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, referrals, networking, LinkedIn, partner engagement, and industry events. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline capable of consistently supporting assigned revenue targets. Drive new logo acquisition and contribute to global business growth. Own the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiations, and contract execution. Understand customer business challenges and position the platform as a strategic cloud commerce solution. Deliver executive-level presentations, product demonstrations, business cases, and ROI-focused proposals. Engage and influence C-level executives, cloud practice leaders, operations directors, finance leaders, and other key stakeholders. Lead commercial negotiations and close high-value enterprise SaaS opportunities. Research emerging cloud providers, Microsoft partners, and enterprise technology organizations to identify new opportunities. Develop territory strategies to expand market presence across North America and Europe. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify whitespace opportunities. Represent the business at industry events, conferences, webinars, and executive networking forums. Maintain accurate opportunity records and sales activities within the CRM. Prepare reliable monthly and quarterly forecasts and participate in pipeline reviews and deal strategy sessions. Maintain strong pipeline coverage and support predictable revenue generation. Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Solution Engineering, Partner Success, and leadership to improve lead quality, develop sales strategies, share market intelligence, and deliver a seamless customer acquisition experience. Track key performance indicators including revenue, new ARR, new logo acquisition, quota achievement, ACV, pipeline coverage, win rate, sales cycle duration, forecast accuracy, opportunity conversion, qualified opportunities, executive meetings, strategic account plans, and proposal-to-close performance. Requirements The ideal candidate will bring extensive enterprise B2B SaaS or technology sales experience, a strong new-business mindset, and a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles. You should be comfortable engaging senior decision-makers across international markets and combining strategic account planning with highly proactive prospecting. 7–12 years of enterprise B2B SaaS or technology sales experience. Proven track record of consistently exceeding new business revenue targets. Extensive experience in enterprise hunting, including account research, lead generation, outbound prospecting, and new logo acquisition. Demonstrated success selling enterprise software solutions into North American and European markets. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles. Strong commercial negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills. Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA preferred. Strong capabilities in enterprise new business development, strategic account research, and territory planning. Experience with consultative and value-based selling and executive relationship management. Strong pipeline and forecast management skills combined with commercial and business acumen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred experience: Experience selling enterprise software within the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem. Familiarity with Microsoft CSP, Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud commerce, or subscription-based platforms. Experience working with enterprise customers across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN Selling, or Solution Selling. Benefits Fully remote position across India. Opportunity to work with major cloud providers and technology partners across North America and Europe. Exposure to complex enterprise SaaS sales and cloud commerce transformation. Significant ownership over strategic accounts, territory development, pipeline creation, and new business growth. Opportunity to engage directly with senior business and technology executives. High-impact role within a rapidly growing SaaS environment. Opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a platform evolving toward a global multi-cloud commerce solution. International exposure across enterprise technology markets and strategic customer segments.
