Full job description

The position is based in the Umthombo Centre for Student Success and combines brief assessments, counselling and psychoeducation with student-support groups, emergency referral, documentation, mentorship-programme management and office administration. UCT lists an annual remuneration package including benefits from ZAR 661,967 to ZAR 778,783.

Requirements & qualifications

Applicants need a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology, current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a registered practitioner, professional indemnity insurance or willingness to obtain it, and at least three years of post-qualifying experience in higher education or a related environment.
