Support the coordination of sea and air freight shipments, including booking and scheduling.
Assist in the preparation and verification of transport and customs documents (e.g., AWB, B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists).
Carry out tracking & tracing activities and update shipment status in internal systems.
Communicate with carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth operational flows.
Support the team in data entry, maintaining shipment records, and ensuring data accuracy in ERP/TMS systems.
Assist in issue resolution, such as delays, missing documents, or deviations in transport processes.
Prepare reports, KPIs, and analyses to support operational performance monitoring.
Contribute to process optimization initiatives, including administrative support and small internal projects.
Provide general administrative assistance to the logistics operations teams.
Logistics Skills
Basic understanding of international logistics, incoterms, and global transport flows.
First experience or coursework in sea freight, air freight, customs processes, or supply chain operations (advantageous but not mandatory).
Ability to work with shipment documentation (e.g., AWB, B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists).
Digital & Analytical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Comfort working with ERP/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, CargoWise, AS400) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data.
Language & Communication
Fluent German and English (written and spoken) for internal and external communication.
Strong communication skills when interacting with carriers, partners, and internal teams.
Personal Competencies
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Reliable, structured, and solution‑oriented working style.
Team player with a hands-on mentality and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after onboarding.
