Full job description
We are seeking an experienced and versatile System Administrator - IT Infrastructure Services for Qatar location.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Expertise:
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Networking, and Storage solutions.
- Administer Azure Active Directory and implement role-based access control (RBAC).
- Monitor security via Azure Security Center and Log Analytics.
- Manage backup solutions and ensure data protection.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting.
On-Premises & Hybrid Infrastructure:
- Manage physical and virtual servers (Windows & RedHat Linux), SAN/NAS storage, and hybrid Exchange/Office 365 environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk mitigation, and apply system updates.
- Configure user access, resolve technical escalations, and collaborate with application teams on resource planning.
- Manage enterprise backup solutions and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to IT projects.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Azure and hybrid infrastructure administration.
- Strong expertise in Windows/Linux server environments, virtualization, networking, and storage.
- Proficiency with Azure services, Office 365, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
- Experience in security monitoring, backup management, and performance reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
