Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Systems Administrator – Endpoint Management based in India. This is a fully remote Systems Administration role focused on managing, securing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Windows-based client and internal IT environments. You will act as a technical escalation point for complex systems, endpoint, infrastructure, and security issues while helping maintain reliable IT services. The role combines hands-on systems administration with endpoint management, vulnerability remediation, automation, and cybersecurity operations. You will work closely with U.S.-based clients and technical teams, requiring strong English communication and a customer-focused approach. There is also an opportunity to improve operational efficiency through scripting, automation, and emerging technologies. The position operates within a 24/7 service environment and offers exposure to enterprise IT, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and managed services.

Manage, monitor, maintain, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, endpoints, and client environments. Resolve complex L2/L3 infrastructure and systems issues while monitoring system performance, availability, and overall health. Manage endpoint environments through discovery, monitoring, configuration assessment, software deployment, patch management, compliance activities, vulnerability remediation, and troubleshooting. Monitor and maintain endpoint and enterprise security platforms while supporting security hardening, endpoint investigations, incident response, and technical remediation. Work with technologies such as EDR, SIEM, ITDR, DNS filtering, application whitelisting, vulnerability management, and other security platforms. Use RMM and PSA platforms to monitor and manage client environments and maintain accurate technical documentation, configurations, procedures, and standard operating practices. Develop and optimize automation workflows using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting technologies to reduce repetitive tasks and improve service delivery. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, AI-enabled tools, and emerging IT technologies. Communicate directly with U.S.-based clients when escalated or specialized technical support is required, clearly explaining technical issues and recommended solutions. Serve as a technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 teams, troubleshoot advanced issues, mentor junior team members, and contribute to technical procedures and best practices. Participate in scheduled after-hours, overnight, on-call, or rotating support as required within the assigned client or service timezone. Respond to critical incidents according to established escalation procedures and contribute to reliable 24/7 IT service delivery. Requirements: 3–5+ years of hands-on Systems Administration experience, preferably in an MSP or managed IT services environment. Strong experience with Windows Server and desktop environments, endpoint management, patching, monitoring, and technical troubleshooting. Experience handling L2/L3 escalations and resolving complex infrastructure and systems issues. Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability identification, remediation, and security hardening. Experience with RMM, PSA, EDR, or related IT management and security platforms. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work through complex technical issues independently. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including confidence communicating directly with U.S.-based clients and non-technical stakeholders. Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment. Willingness and flexibility to work within an assigned client/service timezone and participate in a 24/7 support schedule when required. Hands-on Tanium experience is a strong plus, including advanced administration, certification, formal training, or experience managing Tanium across multi-client or enterprise environments. Experience with PowerShell, Python, Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, EDR, SIEM, ITDR, vulnerability management, automation, RPA, AI-based tools, or workflow automation is advantageous. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, Tanium, or ITIL are beneficial. Strong interest in cybersecurity, automation, emerging IT technologies, and continuous technical improvement. Reliable computer or laptop, second monitor, stable high-speed internet connection, and a professional, secure remote workspace. Successful candidates must be prepared to complete a background check and provide valid police clearance or equivalent official criminal record clearance before final employment. Benefits: Fully remote position for candidates based in India. Competitive monthly compensation based on experience, technical expertise, and location. Opportunity to work directly with U.S.-based clients and technical teams. Exposure to enterprise systems administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity, automation, and managed IT services. Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding technology environment. Hands-on exposure to AI-powered automation and innovative IT solutions. Opportunity to develop expertise across endpoint, infrastructure, security, and automation technologies. Supportive and growth-oriented remote work environment. Direct access to experienced IT leadership and technical mentorship. Opportunity to contribute to service improvements and technical best practices. Flexible work arrangements aligned with client and service requirements within a 24/7 support model.
