Systems Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Systems Architect based in Brazil. This role offers the opportunity to architect and deliver complex technology ecosystems and products for a major financial services environment. You will lead the design, development, monitoring, and delivery of Generative AI and Machine Learning use cases. Working across multiple teams, you will translate business needs into scalable, secure, and reliable AWS solutions. The position combines hands-on architecture with technical leadership, solution design, and close collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders. You will help balance business impact with technical constraints while establishing robust architectural standards. The role is ideal for a technology professional who enjoys complex challenges, continuous learning, and working in a dynamic, non-linear environment.

Solution Architecture: Collaborate with multiple teams to define and implement scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions using AWS and modern engineering practices. GenAI & Machine Learning: Lead the design, development, monitoring, and delivery of Generative AI and Machine Learning use cases, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements. Business Alignment: Define relevant business metrics and connect them to use-case implementation to help teams measure impact and deliver solutions that address real business needs. Technical Leadership: Partner with Solution Architects and Squad Leaders to design and deliver reliable solutions while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, scalability, and security. Architecture & Design: Participate in the delivery, design, and defense of technical and architectural solutions that address complex business challenges. Documentation: Translate agreed solution designs into clear architectural diagrams that can be easily consulted by engineering teams and clients, while maintaining an accurate record of architectural decisions. Requirements & Quality: Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are properly addressed throughout solution design and implementation. Team Development: Lead, train, and inspire team members through knowledge-sharing sessions, day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and constructive feedback. Continuous Collaboration: Work closely with peers, product teams, and other technical stakeholders to propose, evaluate, and refine solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle. Requirements: Cloud Architecture: Proven experience designing and supporting large, complex applications and ecosystems using AWS. Infrastructure & Delivery: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools, with familiarity with GitLab CI/CD preferred. AI & Machine Learning: Professional experience with Generative AI and/or Machine Learning, with the ability to apply these technologies to practical business use cases. Technical Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze complex challenges, propose technical solutions, and discuss architectural approaches effectively with peers and product stakeholders. Architecture Skills: Experience defining scalable and secure architectures, documenting technical decisions, and ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met. Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to guide and develop teams, share technical knowledge, provide feedback, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Technology Mindset: Passion for technology and complex challenges, with the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and non-linear working environment. Communication: Advanced or fluent English is required to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders throughout the workday.
