The Tan Sri Lee Loy Seng Foundation is accepting 2026 scholarship applications from Malaysian citizens and residents with financial need who study at local public universities or tertiary institutions.

The scholarship is valued at RM7,500 per academic year for diploma study and RM11,000–RM12,000 per academic year for degree study depending on the course. The foundation considers financial need, academic performance, character, leadership and community or extracurricular activity. First-round shortlisted applicants are scheduled for in-person interviews in Ipoh in November, with travel expenses provided for shortlisted interviewees.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens and residents, demonstrate financial need, meet the relevant institution’s academic conditions, have good STPM/SPM results, and, if already an undergraduate, have at least CGPA 2.80. A recipient must give up any other scholarship or study loan to take up this scholarship.
