You will oversee sales tax risk assessments, voluntary disclosure agreements, and historical compliance engagements while maintaining high standards for quality and client service. The position combines people leadership, operational management, tax expertise, and process improvement in a fast-paced professional services environment. You will help ensure consistent turnaround times, accurate filings, effective capacity management, and a reliable customer experience. A key part of the role is identifying opportunities to use automation and AI to improve productivity, accuracy, and scalability. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and serve as an escalation point for complex client and state authority matters.
