Aptus Health Care is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our supportive educational environment. In this role you will assist clients with behavioral needs through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Your responsibilities include implementing individual education plans (IEPs), facilitating learning activities, and collecting data on student progress while creating a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for all students.

Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
Certification:
- Completion of the 40-hour RBT training module is required. (certificate would need to be completed before you start seeing clients)
Experience:
- Experience working with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and implementation of ABA strategies.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to helping students succeed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commute to both clinic locations (McAllen and Edinburg) as needed but will remain consistently in one location.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling options available.
Work Setting:
- In-person, in classroom and therapy settings.
Benefits
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (rate may vary based on experience)
Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
