The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution and successful handover of large-scale enterprise IT projects, focusing on systems integration, networking, and security solutions. Drawing on a deep technical background in these domains, this role provides strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring that all client engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, directly impacting on the profitability and reputation of the Digital Services division.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional technical team consisting of system administrators, network engineers, applications and cybersecurity professionals to execute complex IT projects.
- Define and enforce robust delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes for all customer-facing engagements.
- Act as the primary executive escalation point for critical project roadblocks, ensuring swift technical and commercial resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Partner closely with Pre-Sales and Sales teams to ensure smooth transitions from proposal and pipeline stages into active delivery, validating scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and utilization tracking to minimize bench costs and optimize department productivity.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field.
- Master's degree or MBA; advanced technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP). (Desired)
Experience
- 10+ years in IT project delivery with 5+ years in a leadership role managing systems, networks, and security teams.
- 15+ years of experience, including a proven track record of delivering multi-million dollar enterprise IT projects. (Desired)
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, security, systems), stakeholder management and vendor negotiation.
- Advanced knowledge of ITIL, PMP/Agile frameworks, and enterprise managed services architecture.
Compliance with policies and procedures based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS.
