About the Role We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Technical Manager to oversee concrete mix design, quality assurance, technical support, and compliance across ready-mix concrete operations. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, optimizing mix performance, supporting projects with technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement in line with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Mix Design Develop, review, and optimize concrete mix designs to meet project specifications and performance requirements. Provide technical guidance on concrete technology, materials selection, and application methods. Support project teams with technical solutions for complex site conditions. Quality Assurance & Control Establish and monitor quality control systems for raw materials, production, and finished concrete. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and testing procedures. Analyze test results and implement corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality. Production & Operations Support Work closely with batching plant and operations teams to ensure technical accuracy in production. Troubleshoot technical and production issues related to concrete performance. Support optimization of production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and technical guidelines. Maintain technical documentation, mix design records, and quality reports. Support audits, certifications, and client technical reviews. Client & Project Support Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on technical matters. Conduct site visits to address technical issues and provide recommendations. Support pre-qualification, technical submissions, and approvals for projects. Team Development & Continuous Improvement Train and mentor quality and technical staff on best practices and standards. Promote innovation and continuous improvement in concrete technology and processes. Stay updated on industry developments, materials, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. 8–12 years of experience in ready-mix concrete or construction materials operations. Strong expertise in concrete mix design, testing, and quality control. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and specifications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and technical priorities.
