cBEYONData + SMX is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in support of a Modernized Data Science Platform for a Federal customer. This role will support IT transformation and modernization efforts by designing, building, and delivering data-driven solutions that connect business requirements with scalable technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing large technical data analytics development teams. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, data engineering expertise and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders in a Federal/DoD environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a team of 10+ developers and functional resources to deliver end-to-end Enterprise Business Analytics solution. Work closely with the client on designing the Enterprise Analytics Vision and Strategy. Assign and track day-to-day tasks of the team members to ensure that all the deliverables are completed on time. Support the client as a Sr. Technical Architect in the design and delivery of the Enterprise Analytics solutions. Participate in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and business process improvement activities. Work cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and Federal customer representatives. Support knowledge sharing through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring. This position requires On-site presence at least 3 days a week in the Pentagon.   Required Skills and Experience: Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required. Experience: 10 years of related work experience managing technical development teams of 10+ resources using Agile methodology. Experience working on Data Science projects. Extensive experience working with multiple Data Science tools (e.g. Databricks, Palantir Foundry etc..). Extensive experience Architecting new solutions to support Enterprise level reporting for large organizations. Extensive prior experience working with clients on Technical designs and solutioning to support Enterprise reporting needs. Experience maintaining Project Management specific documentation like Risk Register, Issue Log, Change Log etc. Prior hands-on experience building production data pipelines, reports and dashboards. Extensive experience working with Jira and Confluence. Competence with software engineering tools and processes, including estimation, issue tracking, version control, and debugging. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and participate in technical and business discussions. Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Proven experience with knowledge sharing, including code reviews and clear documentation. Driven, self-directed personality with a strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience working with the DoD.
