Full job description
Broadcast Audio Operator ((station)), the ((AAA)) affiliate in (( location)), has an opening for a Production Audio Operator . The Audio Operator is responsible for operating a large stereo audio console during live television programs, producing recorded studio programs, and supporting commercial and promotional production. This role will also be cross-trained in other operations areas, including camera , teleprompter , videotape , and master control. You will report to the ((manager title)) . Responsibilities Operate the audio console for live and recorded television programs Support the production of commercial and promotional material Assist with additional station operations duties as assigned Cross-train in camera, teleprompter, videotape, and master control operations Requirements Prior exposure to television station operations and newscast production Experience with master control activities and tasks Knowledge of television audio and video systems Experience operating electronic equipment for broadcast and production needs Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Mobility and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds Related military experience will be considered Values in Action At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
