The University of Hong Kong is recruiting a tenure-track Clinical Professor in Restorative Dental Sciences (Prosthodontics) to lead teaching, clinical excellence and research in the Faculty of Dentistry.
Full job description
The appointment is initially offered on a four-year fixed-term basis with possible renewal and consideration for tenure before the end of a second four-year term, while outstanding candidates may be considered for tenure terms. The appointee will lead undergraduate and postgraduate education, supervise research students and advance research in Prosthodontics and interdisciplinary dentistry.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants should have a dental or medical bachelor's degree or equivalent, a clinical specialist qualification or equivalent status in Prosthodontics, and a PhD or equivalent research degree, together with internationally recognized research, teaching and clinical leadership. The successful candidate must obtain valid registration with the Dental Council of Hong Kong; applicants without a local dental licence must meet the legal requirements for limited registration.
