As a Territory Manager, you will drive commercial performance across an assigned territory while building strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for maximizing sales, market share, and business performance within a specialized therapeutic portfolio. The role combines strategic territory planning, customer engagement, education, and cross-functional collaboration. Maintain strong clinical and technical knowledge of designated therapeutic areas and apply that expertise effectively in customer interactions. Plan and deliver educational activities, including disease and product training programs for local medical professionals when required. Collaborate closely with internal partners such as Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support territory objectives. Oversee activities related to the compliant marketing and promotion of products within the assigned territory. Coordinate territory initiatives with a high degree of independence, appropriately prioritizing activities and making sound business decisions with minimal supervision. Travel regularly within Canada, with occasional international travel potentially required depending on business and regional needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of specialty sales experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in both English and French, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within complex organizational and regulated environments. Previous experience working with rare-disease products or specialized therapeutic areas is preferred. Proven ability to establish productive relationships with stakeholders at different organizational levels, from healthcare professionals to senior management. Strong problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and resource-allocation skills. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a field-based environment. Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into effective commercial strategies. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, CRM systems, and other standard business tools. Adaptable and committed to continuous learning, professional development, and growth within a dynamic commercial environment. Benefits Field-based, remote position supporting the Montreal territory in Canada. Opportunity to work within a specialized pharmaceutical and biotechnology environment focused on therapies for rare and genetically defined conditions. High level of autonomy and responsibility in managing an assigned territory and customer relationships. Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with teams spanning Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and commercial operations. Opportunities to participate in medical meetings, conferences, educational programs, and professional development activities. The opportunity to build expertise in specialized therapeutic areas and contribute to initiatives supporting healthcare professionals and patients. Travel opportunities within Canada, with occasional international travel depending on business requirements.
