Position Overview: The Software Test Engineer is responsible for the testing and validation of the IRT systems. Working closely with the Lead Test Engineer, Testing Engineer - Senior and Project team, they are responsible for delivering a high quality system to the client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex web applications. Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical domain is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies is highly desirable.
Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.
Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application.
Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end.
Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and client assignments.
Strong in database queries, Stored Procedures and View testing
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automatic test execution.
Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to anticipate client needs and address complex issues.
Provides guidance and sets priorities for the Test Engineer on project.
Displays commitment to excellence.
Must have experience in IRT/RTSM domain
Hands on experience in software testing concepts (manual & automation)
Familiarity with any programming language such as Java or C# is a plus
Working experience of web applications and how they work
Hands-on experience of testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter (good to have)
Good knowledge of SQL and databases
Self-motivated, curious, and proactive attitude
2-6 years’ experience working in software testing/ Quality Assurance
Completed graduation in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
