Therapist Clinical Quality Peer Educator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Therapist Clinical Quality Peer Educator based in the United States. As a Therapist Clinical Quality Peer Educator, you’ll help promote safe, evidence-based, and clinically sound care by reviewing therapists’ clinical documentation against established quality standards. You’ll assess initial assessments, progress notes, and clinical decision-making to identify opportunities for improvement. The role combines clinical expertise, quality assurance, education, and thoughtful feedback to support providers in delivering consistently high-quality care. You may also provide individualized coaching and remediation to clinicians who need additional support meeting documentation and care standards. The position involves working with AI-assisted review tools, helping evaluate model outputs and improve quality-review processes over time. This is a remote, part-time contract opportunity designed for experienced licensed therapists who enjoy clinical education and quality improvement.

Review clinical documentation, including initial assessments and progress notes, to identify gaps against established standards for safe, high-quality patient care. Evaluate clinical decision-making and the appropriate use of evidence-based treatment modalities. Assess documentation for consistency with applicable clinical quality expectations and identify areas requiring improvement. Participate in calibration exercises, inter-rater reliability rounds, and other quality-assessment activities as programs evolve. Provide asynchronous and live one-on-one remediation and coaching to providers who fall below established standards, where applicable. Deliver education-focused feedback that connects documentation practices to patient safety, clinical quality, and evidence-based care. Use AI-assisted review tools to critically assess model outputs and provide structured feedback that can improve both review rubrics and AI-supported quality processes. Complete all clinical reviews, documentation, and related activities within designated systems. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality requirements, ensuring patient information is not stored or maintained outside approved systems. Adapt to evolving workflows, technologies, quality standards, and programs as the organization continues to scale. Requirements Current licensed therapist or professional counselor with an independent, unrestricted U.S. license. At least 3 years of direct therapy experience. Professional experience conducting quality chart reviews, clinical audits, or similar quality-assurance activities within healthcare delivery organizations. Experience coaching, training, or educating other clinicians on documentation and standards of clinical care. Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices, clinical decision-making, and high-quality clinical documentation. Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to educate diverse groups of clinicians effectively. Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive, educational manner rather than a punitive one. Comfortable learning and using different healthcare technology platforms and adapting to evolving digital workflows. Strong attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient safety and quality. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while consistently meeting quality, confidentiality, and documentation requirements. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week . Must have or establish an LLC or S-Corp to work under the contract arrangement. Benefits $125 per hour for contracted clinical quality peer education work. Part-time, fully remote contract position.
