Develop and implement a robust tool control program, including policies, procedures, tool inventories, shadow boards, tracking systems, and inspection protocols. Lead the daily operations of tool rooms and tool issue points, ensuring full accountability and availability of tools to support maintenance work and field operations. Establish and maintain tool control documentation aligned with regulatory, OEM, and internal quality requirements. Assume the responsibilities of the tool calibration program. Conduct regular tool audits, inspections, and discrepancy investigations, ensuring timely resolution and reporting of missing or damaged tools. Train technicians on tool control standards, handling procedures, documentation accuracy, and safety expectations. Collaborate with production, quality, safety, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure tools and equipment meet program and aircraft operational requirements. Manage tool procurement, calibration scheduling, repair processes, and replacement planning. Monitor and report tool control metrics, compliance findings, and program performance to senior leadership. Identify and drive continuous improvements to tool control processes, systems, and workflow efficiency. Ensure operations comply with OSHA, FAA, DoD, and internal safety/quality standards as applicable.
Minimum 1 year of Inventory Clerk with ERP experience Able to work 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm Minimum 1 year work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role Excellent math and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance Personal accountability and integrity are paramount, as an Inventory clerk is tasked with an accurate accounting of all inventory Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many packages are large
3+ year of ERP inventory experience Forklift Operator Certified Experience with RFID scanner inventory systems Manufacturing experience MS Office experience
