Teams work on real challenges from Reitir and develop and pitch ideas to a judging panel. Teams normally have three to five students, while the official page also allows an individual to register for possible matching with others. The competition emphasizes practical innovation, industry contact and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The winning team receives a four-day study visit to Copenhagen with opportunities to meet sector professionals, network and present its ideas.
Eligibility requirements
Open to full-time Reykjavík University undergraduate or master's students across departments. Teams have three to five students, with individual registration also available for possible team matching. A maximum of 10 teams can participate.
