Our nimble organizational structure and entrepreneurial spirit attract top-tier talent with a passion for innovation, laying the foundation and driving our consistent success in the industry.   Intern With Geneva Trading  Geneva Trading is looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial students to join our systems reliability engineering team for a trade support internship next summer. Our internship program is a fast-paced, dynamic 10-week full-time paid position that gives you hands-on experience in the trading industry. Our interns are expected to design solutions to complex problems and work on projects that directly impact the firm. You’ll receive mentorship by industry pros and will participate in corporate training, teambuilding activities, and firmwide summer socials to strengthen your connection with other interns and full-time employees. The summer internship program is a path to earn full-time opportunities at Geneva Trading after graduation.   As a Trade Support Engineer (Intern) You Will   Support engineers through the change release process and deployment, troubleshoot, and escalate to the DevOps and Development team when necessary   Learn to troubleshoot issues that arise on trading desks   Review log files to find application issues, bring awareness of common issues, and propose solutions   Assist in the management and tuning of monitoring tools to prioritize alerts   Develop scripts to automate tasks as needed   Leverage generative AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate script development and optimize troubleshooting workflows   Explore and assist in implementing AI-driven solutions for log analysis, anomaly detection, and proactive system monitoring   Required Qualifications   Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Information Technology or a similar field of study   Experience troubleshooting, documenting, basic networking concepts, and Windows OS   Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)   Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts and a strong willingness to utilize AI tools for effective problem-solving   Problem solver and self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams   Preferred Qualifications   Python proficiency highly preferred   Experience with cloud services/platforms, log tools, queries, and Jira preferred   Strong project management experience preferred   Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) or integrating AI/ML APIs into automation scripts   Compensation: Hourly Range: $30-35/hr The final hourly rate will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills, experience, education, and qualifications.    Application expected to close: 11/23/2026  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
