Role: Transformation Portfolio Director / Delivery Lead (Pharma / Life sciences R&D) - Contract Role
Seniority: Manager - Director
Day rate: £500-£750 (depending on level) outside IR35
Project duration(s): 6+ months, starting mid-late October
Location: Hybrid, London
Support a boutique management consultancy working with the Head of Transformation for the R&D function of a major global pharmaceutical client. The role will lead and coordinate a significant portfolio of transformation initiatives, ensuring strong governance, delivery discipline and senior stakeholder alignment across the programme.

Tasks
Lead and coordinate multiple transformation workstreams across the R&D portfolio Drive delivery, managing milestones, dependencies, risks and governance across the programm Engage senior stakeholders, including SVP-level clients, to maintain alignment and resolve delivery challenges
Requirements
An independent consultant
Consulting background is preferred
Strong experience leading and delivering major transformation portfolios within complex organisations
Excellent programme delivery, governance and cross-functional coordination capability
Strong senior stakeholder management skills; Life Sciences, Pharma or R&D experience is advantageous
