The 2026 season runs from 14 September to 18 December. Placements last two to five weeks, with four weeks recommended, and require at least 35 hours weekly. Participants assist with tropical crops, poultry, treatment evaluation, regenerative practices, records, budgets, marketing and farm-to-table operations. The programme fee is USD 289 per week and includes room and board, lab access and training; travel, insurance and any visitor permit are separate.
Eligibility requirements
No prior tropical-agriculture experience is required. Undergraduate and graduate students may participate for academic credit, non-students may also apply, and experienced tropical agriculture or agroforestry professionals are welcome. Preference is given to students enrolled in an accredited programme.
