Trust & Safety Analyst Engineer

TL;DR You'll build, analyze, and scale the systems that keep Lovable a platform the world can trust. Sitting at the intersection of data analysis, software engineering, and policy enforcement, you'll turn safety policies into automated logic that protects millions of users from harmful content, fraud, and abuse. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years in trust & safety, platform integrity, or a related role combining data analysis and engineering at a consumer tech company.
• Strong technical foundation: you're comfortable writing code, querying data, and building backend workflows that run at scale.
• The ability to translate safety policies into automated logic, machine learning features, and scalable systems.
• Sharp judgment under ambiguity. You can dig into a pattern of abuse, gather context, and make the right call quickly.
• Comfort with sensitive content and a steady temperament. You know how to protect yourself while working close to hard material.
• Operational rigor: you document decisions, spot patterns, and turn one-off cases into policy and tooling improvements.
• Strong written English and clear, empathetic communication with users and internal teams.
• Bonus: familiarity with DSA, NCMEC reporting, or working with law enforcement requests. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Build, analyze, and scale the systems that protect Lovable users from harmful content, fraud, and abusive behavior.
• Translate safety policies into automated logic, machine learning features, and scalable backend workflows.
• Collaborate closely with trust & safety specialists, data, engineering, and product teams to turn policy into detection and enforcement.
• Identify trends across cases and abuse patterns, and feed them back into policy, tooling, and detection.
• Escalate complex or high-severity cases to T&S Experts, Legal, and Engineering with crisp summaries.
• Help build the AI-assisted moderation tooling that lets a small team punch far above its weight. ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION
