Eligibility requirements
The host scientist must be full-time staff at the host institution in Türkiye and hold at least a doctoral degree. The visiting or sabbatical scientist must be formally invited by the university, public institution or public organisation where the research will take place and must meet the programme's experience and prior-support rules.
Tips for this fellowship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified against TÜBİTAK's official 2221 programme page on 28 August 2026. The third 2026 term runs 3–31 August; no closing clock time was stated, so the machine deadline is null. Host-side online submission is required and no authenticated workflow was bypassed.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
