UAEU’s Department of Biology is recruiting a full-time Assistant Professor in invertebrate biology to establish an independent externally funded research programme and contribute to teaching, graduate supervision and service.
Full job description
Research areas may include invertebrate zoology, marine or freshwater invertebrates, physiology or ecology, biodiversity, systematics, evolution, and applied invertebrate biology relevant to arid or regional ecosystems.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants require a PhD in Biology, Zoology or a closely related field, with strong research/publication potential and teaching capability. Postdoctoral experience, evidence or potential for external research funding, and supervision experience are preferred.
